Information We Collect and How We Use It

You can generally visit the Site without revealing any personally identifiable information about yourself. We do not collect personally identifiable information from our Site visitors without the Site visitor providing us with this information as set forth in this Privacy Policy.

If you request to receive company, product information or purchase products, you will be asked to provide for your name, title, e-mail address, company name, and phone number. The personally identifiable information you submit to us will be used to identify you as a customer and to facilitate your order. We may also use this information to later contact you for a variety of reasons, such as customer service, providing you promotional information about our products and services or those of our other affiliated companies (“affiliated companies”), or to communicate with you about the services we have provided.  For security reasons, we do not recommend that you send non-public personal information, such as passwords, social security numbers, or bank account information, to us by email. Aggregate Information

AQE may also automatically collect and analyze information about your general usage of the Site and store it in log files.  AQE may track your usage patterns to see what features of the Site you commonly use, Site traffic volume, frequency of visits, type and time of transactions, type of browser, browser language, IP address and operating system, and statistical information about types of products searched and purchased.  AQE will collect, track and analyze such information in an aggregate manner that does not personally identify you. This aggregate data may be used by AQE and third-party vendors to assist AQE in operating the Site and the products purchased, and be provided to other third parties to enable them to better understand the operation of AQE’ business, but such information will be in aggregate form only and it will not contain personally identifiable data. Children

AQE recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. This Site is not intended for children under the age of 13 and we endeavor not to collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. AQE targets its products and this Site to adults and not to children under 13. If we have found that we have collected personally identifiable information from a child under 13, we will delete this information immediately.

We do not sell your personally identifiable information to third parties.  Notwithstanding the foregoing, You should be aware that any and all information provided to AQE and all of the provisions stated herein are subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission, or any other authorized body or agency.

Information Related to Data Collected through Purchases

AQE engages vendors and service agencies to assist us in providing products or services to you, and AQE will need to share your personally identifiable information (and data generated by cookies and beacons) with these vendors and service agencies. The vendors and service agencies do not receive any right to use your personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to perform its obligations to provide the products or services to you. Accountability for Onward Transfer

Data Retention

AQE retains personally identifiable information and the personal data we process on behalf of our customers for the life of the product you purchase from AQE. AQE retains personally identifiable information on prospective customers for up to seven (7) years. We will retain and use this personally identifiable information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements with customers.

Your Personal Data Rights

If you are a resident or citizen of the European Union, as of May 25, 2018 you will have the rights described below. The Right to Erasure and Right to Portability are new rights provided under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). AQE, as a processor of your personal data, must receive approval from the employer prior to satisfying requests to exercise these rights.

  • Right to Access Information and Obtain Rectification. You have the right to access and review your Personal Data and have any errors in it corrected.

  • Right to Erasure. You have the right to request that AQE erase all of your Personal Data and to no longer store or otherwise process it.

AQE provides an individual that supplies information on the Site with the ability to correct and request the deletion of any of the personally identifiable information that was entered into their profile on the Site.
