Press Brake Operator

Air Quality Engineering seeks an experienced press brake operator to perform and facilitate work for Press Brakes and other fabrication equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Help maintain a safe working environment and achieve measurable safety metrics for the department by using PPE and maintaining situational awareness
- Set up and run production jobs; achieve or surpass personal development metrics regarding productivity and quality
- Train on and facilitate production on press brakes; adhere to rules, regulations, and procedures; provide technical support for the department including operator maintenance of equipment; operate machines with a positive attitude and a sense of urgency
- Help with continuous improvement to eliminate waste and increase productivity and profit margins
- Participate in continuous improvement and lean projects to improve the workplace
- Bend, twist, reach, while standing during a 9-hour shift, ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work day shift 6 am to 3:30 pm with early-out Fridays
- Adhere to rules, regulations, and procedures
- Other duties as required, including operating other machines such as punch presses and spot welders and keeping the area clean and organized
Qualified candidates have 1 year of press brake setup and operation. Knowledge of forming processes, equipment, and tooling; ability to read blueprints, understanding quality standards. High school diploma or GED preferred
